The place is well decorated with designs from Syria and lebanon and the atmosphere is great , low volume music . The service is fast and the waiters are very nice and welcoming and owner always has a smile and makes you feel welcomed . You get complimentary tea and “service” which consists of pickles, mint , cucumbers , tomatoes, onions and olives . We ordered mhammara cheese mankousha and syrian fatteh with beef which was more than sufficient for two persons . Last time we got small fresh bread but this time we weren’t offered any . The mankousha is large and and the dough is light on the stomach , the fatteh could use more bread on it and a bit less tahinah but other than that it’s really good . Note: Due to the place being crowded sometimes , you might have a wait time of 10-15 minutes until a table clears up.

The place is beautiful to sit in, nicely renovated. The waiters were friendly and nice, even though it started to get really busy. Those complaining of the service, you have to understand that this place is very popular and gets overwhelming for the waiters, be patient with them. Kindness goes a long way. The owner was very nice to us and welcoming. The food is top notch. Best fatteh in a beautiful arabic restaurant setting. My sister comes from South Shore for their fatteh. Tells you alot!

Le Professor delivers an exceptional Syrian dining experience. The food is rich in flavor and authenticity — from perfectly crisp falafel to tender, well-seasoned shish taouk. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are genuinely hospitable. Every dish feels homemade, with attention to detail that makes a real difference. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality Middle Eastern cuisine!

Absolutely delicious food and top-notch service The staff were super friendly and respectful. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great breakfast. We came all the way from the GTA, Ontario, and this place was totally worth it. Every time I visit Montreal, I’ll make sure to come back here.

Incredible local spot for Lebanese food, from my understanding it's in the middle of an ethnic enclave and the food lives up to that. We went on a Sunday morning and the place was absolutely buzzing. They told us they didn't do take-out orders but were making an exception for us because we were from out of town. The fatteh salad with beef was the top thing we ate, but everything was great!

Mouthwatering Manakish. Fantastic Falafel. Tasty Tea… Authentic Arabic brunch. It was busy, but we managed to get a table pretty quick. Service was good and the food was very enjoyable. Excited to come back again. We got the 6-piece falafel, 5-cheese manakish, and beef manakish.
